Prevents, combats and inhibits all contaminants.Essential for emergency fuel stocks.
- biocide for counteracting bacteria, fungi, moulds;
- stabilises the diesel;
- prevents oxidation;
- disperses any biomass that is no longer viable, thereby avoiding sedimentation in the tanks and keeping the filters clear.
Current diesel fuels contain a proportion of biofuels (from plant sources) that are prone to alter over time, and this, together with the condensate, gives rise to the formation of fungi, bacteria and moulds that can contaminate tanks, pumps and filters,causing contamination that blocks the flow of fuel, with consequent problems, especially with a low frequency of use.
Bactericide is the new generation of biocide treatments.When added to the fuel it prevents any possibility of contamination: the anti-oxidant function counteracts fuel oxidation processes, and inhibits the proliferation of microorganisms too.
