A.M.C. ALUMINIUM MANIFOLD CLEANER

GASOLINE ASPIRATION CIRCUIT CLEANER. ALUMINIUM MANIFOLDS AND CARBURETOR CLEANER - IGNITION BOOSTER

21.40

Dissolves carbon and oily deposits from the intake circuit, without the need to dismantle.
AMC is manufactured in packs of 400 ml.

  • dissolves carbon and oily deposits from the intake circuit, without the need to dismantle.Deep cleans intake manifolds, the turbo, intercooler, EGR valve, throttle body, valves and combustion chamber;
  • ideal for dissolving and removing sludge and deposits in carburetors;
  • does not damage catalytic converters or Lambda sensors;
  • optimises the combustion of most of the air introduced by decreasing consumption;
  • overall improvement in performance;
  • when nebulized directly, it is ideal for unblocking and cleaning EGR valves;
  • allows carburettor engines to startup without fuel .

Since the introduction of anti-pollution regulations, manufacturers have resorted to recirculating exhaust gases to lower the level of pollutant emissions.The result is that gases and vapours in the crankcase progressively soil the manifolds, the EGR valve, turbo vanes and the intercooler, which obstructs them, and limits the amount of air that enters the combustion chamber.In addition, intercooler dirt prevents adequate air cooling, with a consequent decrease in the amount of air that can enter the combustion chamber.The result is a gradual reduction in performance, an increase in fuel consumption, higher levels of exhaust smoke, etc..

It is, therefore, necessary to clean all the air passages periodically to avoid the cost of disassembling and cleaning them later. A.M.C.Does not remove dirt, but dissolves sediments, lacquers and unburned deposits in a short time without dismantling.Simpy spray the cleaner into the intake manifold with the engine running.The operation takes just a few minutes.With very dirty or blocked EGR valves, you may want to spray AMC directly to unblock and clean them.

When sprayed into carburetors, its great for an easy engine start without running the battery down.

Use and dosage

AMC is not a flow meter cleaner, and must not be sprayed through the air flow sensor. It is not essential, but always useful to perform cleaning operations when the engine is still warm.

Use
Its best if two people undertake the operation:

  1. loosen the clamp, squeeze the tube of the output from the air flow sensor sleeve;
  2. slip on the dispenser tube;
  3. start the engine and keep it at a medium speed (e.g. 2000-2500 r.p.m.) inject the AMC intermittently for a few seconds, not continuously;
  4. after each spray, accelerate for a short burst; by doing this repeatedly, spray – accelerate – spray etc, the engine sucks in the various unburnt combustion products from the chamber, softens the soot and oil and it is gradually dissolved by the effect of the AMC cleaner;
  5. when the operation is over, go out on the road for a few minutes with the engine in a “highish gear” to complete the circuit cleaning operation (especially if you notice smoke discharge, which is a sign the cleaning process is still ongoing.

Dosage
Normally one 400 ml bottle is sufficient for one engine cleaning cycle.You are advised to repeat the operation on average every 30-50 thousand kilometres, depending on the type of use the vehicle gets.Extention probe
You can also carry out cleaning without the vehicle being stationary, i.e. while its in operation; this is recommended for engines that don’t turn over when the car has stopped.By connecting the bottle to the 2.5 meter tube supplied on request, passing it through the bonnet, up into the passenger compartment from where you can clean the moving vehicle.
